PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V DI MI AL AZHAR MUARA PINANG

The focus of this research is how the Discovery Learning Learning Model can be used to inspire
students to learn. We call this kind of study "action research" in class. Twenty-five students of class
V MI Al Azhar Muara Pinang during the 2022/23 even semester served as study participants. Test
and nontest data collection methods. Information was collected through student assessments,
learning motivation surveys, and classroom observations. In cycle I, the average student learning
assessment score reached 60%, but in cycle II, the average student score reached 84%. In cycle I,
71.52% of students answered positively to the question how much they wanted to learn, while in
cycle II, 74.68% did. The factors driving this research are the way teachers manage classes well and
the use of appropriate learning media can help students pay more attention to lessons in class.
While that hinders such as noise and outdoor noise. By intensively providing guidance and
shifting student focus, using the Discovery Learning model, when used effectively, can increase
student enthusiasm in learning.
